Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary

Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary

We spent a week traveling in 3 countries. This is our Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary. We got plane tickets on sale for around 20-25 euros per way. In between the countries, we rode trains. This is a winter itinerary so it was very, very cold. Maybe that’s why the tickets were so cheap, no one wanted to come in this cold weather. Haha. For us from the tropics, it’s a novelty but I know europeans chase the sun and they only like the cold when it’s a ski trip. 😛

  • We chose to stay longer in Berlin because the hotel was the cheapest. It’s at least 50% cheaper than Vienna or Prague around that time.
  • I booked tickets at the Prague website for our Vienna-Prague train tickets because it was cheaper for the same tickets anyway.
  • Food is more affordable in these countries compared to other european countries
  • We booked for a tour in the Reichstag on day 5 but it was closed for days 5 & 6 because of the snow. We just tried again on day 7 for an early morning tour and thankfully it cleared a bit that day and they allowed tours. You need reservations and it can be done online for free. 🙂
  • We did enjoy this trip. It would have been more enjoyable if the temperature was not below zero. 😛
