Sapporo New Chitose Airport

Sapporo New Chitose Airport

On our arrival to Sapporo, we didn’t really get the chance to explore the Sapporo New Chitose Airport since we were scrambling for time just to get to Niseko. I’m glad we got the opportunity to check it out before we departed since I’ve read a lot of good things about it. πŸ™‚

It had a lot of stores to shop from just in case you didn’t have the time to.

But the highlight is probably the Royce Chocolate Factory. It has a museum like display with interactive light installations and candy wraps on display throughout the year.

They also show you the process of making the chocolates. It’s also cheaper to buy the chocolates from here and tons of variety.

We walked further down and saw the Doraemon restaurant and some other cute stores that were still closed since it was really early in the morning.

We also saw this Interactive Coke display on the 2nd floor where you can put your name and it will show on the screen including the date, then you can take pictures. I thought it was pretty cute. πŸ™‚
