Where to stay in NAIA 3 to wait for your flight?
There are several lounges available in NAIA 3. I always take economy class flights so I have no access to the business class lounges. Thankfully, my credit card allows me unlimited access to the Pacific Club Lounge for free. Priority Pass members can also enter this lounge. My previous card allowed me to access to the Skyview Lounge. So this is actually my first time at the Pacific Club Lounge. I must say that I find it nicer in terms of decor and it just seems roomier.
As you enter the lounge, you will see the reception (pictured above). They will ask you for your card. In my case, I showed them my credit card. This could also be your priority pass membership card or any card that can help you gain access to the lounge. They also asked for the boarding pass. Asked me to sign and then they gave me the wifi password.
The lounge is very spacious. It has an open inverted L layout with plenty of seating. Since I was there at night, there were hardly anyone there except for a few people.
The restrooms are located on the left hand side before you enter the lounge. They’re across the reception. It was relatively clean and well maintained. They also had a shower room.
FOOD AT THE PACIFIC CLUB LOUNGE
The lounge has several options for light meals. The buffet is located on the left as you enter. At the time I was there they had fruits, pasta, mushroom quiche, vegetarian spring rolls, congee, panara, coffee and tea and liquor.
If you make the turn, on the left side you will see the drinks. They have a coffee making machine, a hot and cold water dispenser. There is also a fridge with several canned drinks, juices and some wine.
This is what I ate. I tried almost everything at the Pacific Club Lounge. 🙂 The pasta was surprisingly nice. The spring rolls were also good. They came in their own container already so you could just grab it from the warm dish. Also the same for the quiche. I was surprised that everything tasted good. Most of the time, there would be a dish that you would hate or the food is just okay. This was better than okay.
I also had some congee. The congee was just okay. It also had some crushed egg, toasted garlic and calamansi if you wanted to add that on your congee available next to it. The panara was good.
The Pacific Club Lounge had some lovely staff. They promptly took away plates and were not annoyingly attentive. This was them cleaning since the lounge was almost closing and I forgot about it. They asked if I wanted some food at the buffet since they were closing soon and they were gonna put it away. I stayed there maybe for an hour and a half. I had an enjoyable time. It had a very relaxing environment. It was a perfect place to wind down at NAIA 3 before catching your plane. 🙂
