The Charming Lazy Dog Bed and Breakfast

One word that would describe this bed and breakfast is “Charming”. I actually heard of this because of a tweet by Carlos Celdran so I googled it. The website had nice pictures of the rooms. The reviews were pretty good on Tripadvisor. The bed and breakfast had good rates – that won me over. It is located a few feet away from Bulabog beach. It is about 5-10 minutes walk from D Mall.

This was our twin room. It was priced PHP1800 a night at the time and it includes breakfast. Basic, nicely decorated, clean and comfy. There’s AC! 🙂

Fat Jimmy’s Resort

We decided to stay at Fat Jimmy’s Resort because of the recommendation of a friend’s friend. Their rate was okay considering that it was peak season. It’s really close to D Mall, about a block away. When we reached the port, we hailed a tricycle and it was a good thing that he knew where Fat Jimmy’s was. It is visible by the road on Station 2.

My Boracay Experience

I’ve been wanting to go to Boracay for the longest time. I was really curious why people love it so much. Last February, I found a seat sale announcement for Seair flying from Clark to Caticlan for 3300 round trip. Flying from Manila is not my favorite thing but this was a really good deal. I called a few friends since we’ve been wanting to go. I only get one response so I booked me and Mrs. Bagel tickets to Boracay. At the time of booking, I didn’t realize that the dates I picked were only 3 weeks after my Siem Reap trip and falls on the end of holy week. My bad. It just means that hotels are more expensive than usual. My Boracay Experience was certainly enjoyable.
