Vienna Prague Berlin Trip Budget

Vienna Prague Berlin Trip Budget

How much does it cost to visit 3 cities in 3 countries in Europe in 7 Days?

Not that much. We were on a very tight budget for this trip and I think we did fairly well. This Vienna, Prague, Berlin Trip Budget could hopefully help you plan your own trip while giving you an idea of how much it could cost. Our visit included 3 cities in 3 countries in 7 days and we were really happy with the trip. It probably helped to keep the cost down traveling in winter since not a lot of people would like to go somewhere cold except for maybe girls like us from the tropics. 🙂

Czech Dinner in Prague

Czech Dinner in Prague

Our Czech Dinner in Prague was filling and sumptuous. We were walking around Prague and decided to taste the local cuisine so we checked out a few restaurants in the Old Town and decided to eat in one cozy place that had good heating. Haha. I don’t remember the name unfortunately of the restaurant.

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge is one of the must see sights in Prague. Construction began in 1357 and completed in the 15th century. It was the main bridge that connected Prague Old Town and the Prague Castle. The bridge is 10 meters wide and 621 meters long. It is quite an impressive bridge.

From the Old Town side of the bridge, there is a small church on the right. When we were there, they were having a performance for a choir to sing but it is free to enter during normal days.

Prague Free Walking Tour

Prague Free Walking Tour

The Prague Free Walking Tour is really free and they take you around the Old Town. It is also available in other cities. It costs nothing to sign up and at the end of the tour, you just give a tip of what you think the tour is worth. We always do this with every city we visit if it is available in that city. In Europe, it is very popular. I’ve also done it in Sydney, Australia. We always go with Sandeman’s as it is a very established company for free tours. If you wanna sign up for one, you can click here.

Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary

Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary

We spent a week traveling in 3 countries. This is our Vienna, Prague and Berlin Itinerary. We got plane tickets on sale for around 20-25 euros per way. In between the countries, we rode trains. This is a winter itinerary so it was very, very cold. Maybe that’s why the tickets were so cheap, no one wanted to come in this cold weather. Haha. For us from the tropics, it’s a novelty but I know europeans chase the sun and they only like the cold when it’s a ski trip. 😛

Fashion Arena Outlet Mall

Fashion Arena Outlet Mall

I was looking for Petrin Hill and so I went back to the metro station to get a different tram. So, I went back. I saw 2 Filipinas shopping at a store and I asked them where I could find Petrin Hill. They gave me directions. They also asked me if I like shopping and that there was an outlet mall just outside the city and since I have a transportation pass, I can go there if I had extra time. So I wrote down the directions.

Market at Old Town

Market at Old Town

I stumbled upon a market at Old Town. I’m not sure if they only have this on weekends or I just missed it on the Friday I was there. I learned that the fridge magnets are way cheaper here than the stores. Too bad I already bought some. They sell a mixture of goods from souvenirs, bags to fruits and flowers.

I still had some money considerable money left so I thought that on my last day in the city, I would splurge a bit. So I turned to the internet to give me some recommendations and came across Cafe Savoy. It is a little bit hard to find at first but I’m glad the directions I got were very good so I stumbled upon it without any problems. I took the metro and then the tram and walked to Cafe Savoy.
