Oceans 27

This is probably one of our more sulit experiences in Bali and a great way to end our trip. This was random and not planned at all. I’ve read reviews about Oceans 27 online but never really paid much attention to it. We were meeting our friend who went to the beach and she suggested that she would buy us drinks.

Bali 7 Day Itinerary

Bali 7 Day Itinerary

I really enjoyed our Bali trip. It was a girls trip with two of my best girl friends. Here is our Bali 7 Day Itinerary and related posts:

Discovery Shopping Mall – Kuta

Discovery Shopping Mall is the mall next to the beach. This is where we ate and did our last minute shopping. You can check out Kuta Beach from here too. It had plenty of restaurants and shops.

Harris Hotel Tuban

This is probably the best value for money hotel that we stayed at during this trip. I chose this hotel specifically because of the free shuttle service and it’s proximity to the airport. They have several branches all throughout Bali. On hindsight, it would have been better if I booked the one in Kuta Beach since this one is almost next to the airport and about 5 minutes from Kuta Beach.

Made’s Warung

Made’s Warung is one of the more popular dining establishments in Bali. It serves both western and local cuisine.

Inner Glow Wellness and Spa

Please excuse my blurry photo. We actually came across this spa while walking from Seminyak Beach and finding our way back to our villa. We just saw the huge Tripadvisor sign outside (which a few of establishments had in Bali as we noticed) so we decided to check it out and get a massage. The price wasn’t bad either.

Carliz Art and Cafe in Seminyak

Carliz art and cafe is located just a few stores down from Seminyak Square. We just went in the restaurant because we were hungry and it was close by, price looked okay and there were people eating so it shouldn’t be too bad. Those are basically our criteria in looking for a place to eat.

Seminyak Square and Seminyak Beach

Seminyak Square is located in the center of Seminyak along Jalan Laksamana Oberoi. For stores and restaurants in the area, you can check out their website here. We often frequented this place since it’s a short walking distance from our villa. We also come here to change our foreign currency. Their rates are pretty good and reliable unlike those shady exchange booths on the small side streets of Oberoi. They also accept Philippine currency here unlike the one in Ubud that didn’t.

Esmee Villa

Bali is probably one of the few places I can afford to rent a villa. We rented a 2 bedroom villa with a pool. The price was very good compared to the others that I looked into. I booked through Location is very nice, it’s just a short walking distance from shops and restaurants. It’s not very far from Seminyak Square where we go often to change our money. They’re the only one we’ve seen that changed Philippine peso to Indonesian Rupiah.

Sukawati Market

Sukawati Market is the place to shop for souvenirs, aside from the Tanah Lot Market. They have a lot of artworks, crafts, clothes, etc. You must be ready to bargain.
